The Saturday Morning Solutions Show is a weekly radio broadcast committed to not only talking-the-talk but teaching its listeners how to walk-the-walk to improve inner-city communities and the people who live within them.
In February 2007, DeVone Holt, Gail Strange and Rev. Clay Calloway assumed the role as hosts of the show. Together, they have created one of the freshest venues for intelligent and lighthearted discussions about issues that impact the African American community.
DeVone, Gail and Rev. Calloway have built one of the largest audiences for a weekend talk show in the state of Kentucky by leveraging local and national celebrities, experts, authors, politicians and community leaders who serve as on-air guests to help address relevant topics for the benefit of the listening audience.
Thanks to modern technology, the show now boasts a loyal audience of listeners from around the country and in international markets that include Japan, Australia, Germany and Jamaica.
The broadcast is comprised of a diverse listening audience who often tune-in specifically to hear the show’s signature Negro Please Award, which is a poetic way for DeVone, Gail and Clay to be prophetic about the pathetic. The award is given in jest as a dubious distinction for individuals who offend the sensibilities of the Saturday Morning Solutions team.
The broadcast offers a healthy dose of laughs and entertainment for its listeners. However the Saturday Morning Solutions teams warns that “You might hear us joking and playing, but if you don’t think we’re serious, you’re not listening to what we’re saying.”
The Saturday Morning Solutions Show is a product of Milton Media and is written & produced by DeVone Holt.
